My Story

A journey into creative storytelling

Dont rain on my parade.jpg

Arts First was founded with the hope of helping others to explore their creative potential. My name is Jordan. I studied musical theater at Belmont University and went on to pursue a career as a performer. I traveled the world as a vocalist/dancer and was fortunate enough to produce my one-woman cabaret “American Sweetheart” as well as my one-woman show, “I’ve Gotta Crow,” a tribute to Mary Martin. Through my experience I have developed the belief that everyone can better navigate their feelings and emotions by utilizing acting, dance, and voice to express themselves fully. I believe that everyone is an artist. It’s just about finding your unique voice. You can join me for private voice, acting and movement coaching or sign up for one of my group classes. I can’t wait to share the magic of creativity with you or a loved one!

I spent three years traveling the world as an entertainer on Cruise Ships. Here are some clips from my one woman cabaret “American Sweetheart.”

This clip is from a guest performance in Manhattan.

Lost Love was adapted from a poem I wrote.
